SUNY Maritime

2016: Saw time in six contests for the Privateers during his first season with the team … made his collegiate debut and recorded one shot against Norwich (3/6) … saw time in the team’s wins over Maine Maritime (3/12) and SUNY Polytechnic (3/19) … collected a shot against Kean (4/2) … had one forced turnover to go along with one ground ball and one shot against Mount St. Vincent (4/27) … also saw time in the season finale against Montclair State (4/30).

High School: Graduated from Islip High School in Islip, New York in 2015 … was a three-year member of the Buccaneer lacrosse team … was selected as a Scholar-Athlete in 2014 and earned the Triple I Award in 2015 … also played three seasons of varsity football and ran one season of winter track … was a Suffolk County Finalist in football and a Suffolk County Big Four Champion with the football team during his senior season.
 
Personal: Son of Jodi and Alan Schaefer … has four siblings; Kristen, Stephanie, Madison, and Reef … is planning to earn his degree in Mechanical Engineering with his U.S. Coast Guard Engine License.
