2016: Sophomore Season-
 
2015 Freshman Season: Primarily an attack team player helping prepare the defense for games but he did see action in three games as a running back and on special teams. Carried the ball five times for 25 yards. Named the Red Hat Player of the Game against Anna Maria.
 
Academics: Sam is majoring in International Transportation and Trade in the Intern program.
 
Prior to Maritime: Attended Locust Valley High School where he played for Coach Matt McFarland and was a team captain, All-Conference and nominated for the Long Island Senior game. He also participated in both wresting and track & field. 
 
Personal: Mom is Angela Torelli.
