At Maritime:
2016: Sophomore Season-
 
2015: Freshman Season - John played defensive back and helped the offense prepare for games each week. He saw action in two games and was named the Defensive Attack Team Player of the Week against Norwich.
 
Academics: John is majoring in Maritime Studies with a USCG Deck License.
 
Prior to Maritime: John attended New Paltz High School where he played for Coach Tom Tegeler and was Team Captain, All-League, All-Conference, All-Section and All-Star Game selection. He also played Basketball and Track where he was the Track Team Captain, 5 time MHAL Champion, Six-Time Section Champion and two New York State Track Championships. John was a member of the National Honor Society and won the MHAL Scholar Athlete Award 4 times and National CYO essay contest winner.  Active in his community, John volunteers for St. Joseph's CYO basketball, Spanish Club, Student Government and Civil Air Patrol.
