At Maritime:
2015: Senior Season -   Selected as D3Football.com Pre-Season First Team All-American kicker. Named ECFC Special Teams Player of the Week for the first two weeks of the season.

2014: Junior Season -   Selected as D3Football.com Third Team All-American kicker. Named ECFC Special Teams Player of the Year and Team Special Teams MVP for the second year in a row.  Started in all 10 games at kicker scoring 55 points on the season (13 Field Goals and 16 Extra Points).  He kicked 4 FGs over 40 yards with his longest being 49 against William Patterson.   He was named Team Special Teams Player of the Game against William Patterson and Becker.  Diogo was named ECFC Special Teams Player of the Week against William Patterson, Anna Maria, Becker and Gallaudet.

2013: Sophomore Season – He earned ECFC Special Teams Player of the Year Honors for the 2013 season in which the Privateers were first in the ECFC in all kicking statistics. Selected to the All-ECFC First Team Offense. Diogo completed 75% of his Field Goal Attempts and a 92.3% PAT conversion rate. 

2012: Freshman Season – Diogo was the starting kicker for the Privateers in all 9 games handling kick–off, field goal and extra point duties. He was the team’s 3^rd leading scorer with 20 points, all on extra point attempts and showed a very strong leg averaging over 54 yards per kick–off. Diogo was named the ECFC Rookie of the Week against Anna Maria and was voted the team’s Most Improved Special Teams Player for the season.

Academics: Diogo is majoring in Facilities Engineering. He received Academic Admiral’s List in fall 2012, and the Dean's List in spring 2013.

Prior to Maritime:
Diogo attended DePaul Catholic High School as an international transfer student from Brazil. He played football for Coach McKenna and was captain of the tennis team.

Diogo’s parents are Paulo and Pamela Dietrich.
