At Maritime:
2013: Junior Season – Duke was elected Team Captain by his teammates and also voted as a member of the Football Leadership Council. He earned Iron Level Lifting Award in the off–season lifting 1450 lbs. in his 4 max outs. Alvora appeared in every game for the Privateers this past season as a Linebacker. He helped in all phases of the game and totaled 35 Tackles and two fumble recoveries as well as contributing on special teams.

2012: Sophomore Season – Duke continued his prowess on Special Teams handling the punting duties and earning All–ECFC Second Team and Team Special Teams MVP honors. His 34 punts for an average of 37.6 yards was 3^rd in the ECFC and 4 of his punts were over 50 yards and 10 were downed inside the opponent’s 10 yard line. Duke also started at linebacker the first 6 games until a knee injury ended his efforts on defense. He still finished the season as the team’s 4^th leading tackler with 48 stops and added 3.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack and 1 forced fumble. Duke scored the Privateers lone defensive TD on the season when he returned an interception 19 yards to pay dirt against Anna Maria. Duke was named Special Teams Player of the Week against Mass Maritime and Husson and Defensive Player of the Week against Anna Maria. Duke earned Iron Privateer level award in the off season program lifting 1470 lbs. in his 4 max outs.

2011: Freshman Season – Duke made an immediate impact as a Privateer as a defensive backup and special teams player. He played in 7 games and registered 4 tackles on the season. Duke was named Defensive Attack Team Player of the Year by his teammates at the end of the season and was also named Attack Team Player of the Week against both Bentley and Husson.

Academics: Duke is majoring in Marine Business and Commerce and is pursuing a USCG Deck License.

Prior to Maritime:
Duke played football for Coach Trolo Jr. while at Harrison High School. While at Harrison, Duke was a two time All–State nominee, a three time All–Section nominee, and a four time All–League nominee. Duke holds the record at Harrison High School as the All Time Sack Leader and is a three time Defensive MVP. Also while at Harrison, Duke played on the wrestling and lacrosse teams.
