2014: Appeared in 15 games for the Privateers, starting in 13 of them during his freshman season … second on the team in goals with 17 … finished the season third on the team in total points with 21 … scored a goal and grabbed three ground balls in his Privateer debut versus Manhattanville (2/22) … scored goals in back-to-back contests vs Western Connecticut (3/12) and Mass. Maritime (3/15) … registered two goals at Maine Maritime (3/16) … recorded a season-high four goals against Lyndon State (3/19) … added two goals, a ground ball, and a caused turnover against SUNYIT (3/22) … scored two goals, an assist, a caused turnover, and a season-best four ground balls against Mount St. Mary (4/9) … picked up two more goals and two ground balls in the season finale versus Mount St. Vincent (4/23).

High School: Graduated from Greenport High School in 2013 … played attack as a member of the Wildcat lacrosse team … was a team captain his senior season with the Wildcats in which he had 20 goals and 29 assists … also played for the Army of Darkness Lacrosse Club where he won the Sun and Surf Tournament in Virginia Beach, Virginia … academically was on the Honor Roll and was also a Scholar-Athlete, he was also a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of April and Joseph McCoy … has one sister, Julia … is majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Maritime with plans to be a chief engineer on a ship like his uncle.
