2008: Junior Season - Started in 8 games while appearing in all 9. Dawit was third on the team with 45 total tackles. He also had 7.5 tackles for a loss and 1 sack. Dawit was voted by his teammates as the weekly Warface captain vs. Salve Regina and named the Special Teams player of the week vs. Catholic.

Dawit will major in Mechanical Engineering.

Dawit played for Coach Frank DeVenuto at Amityville High School where he was All-County. Dawit also wrestled.
