At Maritime:
2013: Senior Season – Robert was elected as Team Captain and was voted to the Football Leadership Council by his teammates. He earned Super Iron Privateer Lifting Level Award (highest possible) in the off-season program lifting 1540 lbs in his 4 max outs.
2012: Junior Season – Robert started at Left Tackle in all 9 games on the season and played the second most number of plays on the offensive line. A physical presence on the field, he led the OL unit in hustle plays, was second in defenders knocked back and third in defenders knocked down. Earned Iron Privateer Level Award in the off season program lifting 1505 lbs in his 4 max outs.
2011: Sophomore Season – Robert started in all 10 games for the Privateers leading the offensive line in total plays with 618 and defenders knocked back with 32. His efforts were recognized by the conference coaches as they voted him with Honorable Mention All-ECFC honors. Received Privateer Level Award in the off season program lifting 1430 lbs in his 4 max outs.
2010: Freshman Season – Robert established himself as the top substitute at the tackle position often coming in during goal line and short yardage situations. He saw action in 8 games on the season registering 7 defenders knocked down and 11 defenders knocked back.
Academics: Robert is majoring in International Transportation and Trade. He earned Academic Dean’s List in fall 2012.
Prior to Maritime:
Robert played for Coach Jim Munson at Tottenville High School where he received Advance All-Star, Fugazzi Bowl All-Star, and was named Tottenville 2010 Offensive Line MVP.
Personal:
Robert’s father is August Marziliano and his brother Justin played for Maritime in 2007 and 2008.
