Biography

At Maritime:
2011: Junior Season – Received Iron Privateer Level Award in the off season program lifting 1715 lbs in his 4 max outs.
 
2010: Sophomore Season – Ricky started all 11 games for the Privateers turning in an ECFC First Team All-Conference performance.  He racked up 34 tackles and had the second highest Tackles for Loss on the team with 7.  He turned in 3 sacks and recovered 2 fumbles returning one against Becker for 22 yards.  He was named the Defensive Player of the Game against Kings Point and at the end of the season received the Hammer Award for biggest tackles and was voted the WARFACE Enthusiasm Award by his teammates.  Ricky received Iron Privateer Level Award in the off season program lifting 1595 lbs in his 4 max outs.
 
2009: Freshman Season - Ricky made an immediate impact on the defense starting the first eight games before an injury ended his season.  He garnered ECFC Second Team All-Conference recognition for his dominance where he racked up 23 tackles and 10 assisted tackles from his nose guard position.  Ricky intimidated opposing quarterbacks leading the team with 2.5 sacks and also a QB Hurry.  He knocked back opponents with 5 tackles for a loss (28 yards) and forced a fumble as well. He was voted the seasons WARFACE Respect Award by his team mates.  Off the field, Ricky was a member of the Monomoy crew which defeated USMMA for the annual Marine Society Cup.

 
Ricky is majoring in Marine Transportation with a USCG Deck License.
 
Prior to Maritime:
Ricky played for Coach Reichert at St. Anthony's High School where he started for two years and played in the CHSFL Senior Bowl.
