Biography

At Maritime:
2013: Sophomore Season – Suffered an injury during preseason camp and will serve the team as a manager this season.

2012: Freshman Season – Shamus made an immediate impact on the line and played in 2 of the first 3 games, getting his first collegiate start against Castleton State. Unfortunately, he suffered a season ending injury which cut his season short.

Academics: Shamus is majoring in Marine Transportation while pursuing a USCG Deck License. Shamus earned Academic Dean’s List in the fall of 2012 and spring of 2013.

Prior to Maritime:
Shamus played at East Islip High School for Coach Caimpi. Shamus also was a member of the Lacrosse team.

Personal:
Shamus’ mother is Dawn Marie McDaniel.
