Biography

At Maritime:

2011: Junior Season – Mike played in all 10 games as a backup and on special teams registering 16 tackles and recovering 2 fumbles. 

Academics: Michael is majoring in International Transportation and Trade and boasts the team’s highest overall GPA with a 3.71.  He has made Admiral’s List in both fall 2011 and spring 2012 semesters.

Prior to Maritime:

Michael transfered to Maritime from DIII powerhouse Mount Union. He played football for Coach Horon at West Islip High School. While at West Islip, Michael was selected as Two Time All Conference, Defensive MVP and was the captain of not only his team, but of the All-Star Team his senior year.

Michael’s mother is Allison Lorentzen.
