SUNY Maritime

At Maritime:

2011: Wess finished with two goals, two assists, picking up seven ground balls and causing one turnover.
 
Wess will major in Marine Transportation and he is currently part of the NROTC program.
 
Prior to Maritime:

Wess played for the Highlanders of Heathwood Hall under Coach Marty Ward. In his time as a Highlander, Wess led the team in goals and ground balls while also participating on the school’s Cross-Country team. He has participated in youth clinics, Toys for Tots and Cell Phones for Soldiers. Wess made the Academic Honor Roll both his junior and senior years.
 
Personal:

Wess is the son of Catherine and Keith Johnson. He has a brother named Clay (24), and two sisters named Catie (11) and Sue (9). He chose Maritime because he wants to pursue a career in Admiralty Law. The person he most admires is Jim Whittaker and he is determined to remain in the Dean’s and Admiral’s list for his remaining time on campus.
