Biography

At Maritime:

2011: Junior Season - Joe played in 7 games on the season and made one tackle.  At the end of the season, his teammates voted him with the WARFACE award.

2010: Sophomore Season – Joe saw action in 7 games on the season registering 3 tackles and 1 QB Hurry and was recognized as the Special Teams Player of the Week in the Chowder Bowl victory over Mass Maritime. Joe volunteered as a Squad Leader for Regimental Indoctrination

2009: Freshman Season - Joe played in two games and was named the Defensive Scout of the Week against Husson.

Academics: Joe is majoring in Marine Operations while pursuing a USCG Deck License.  He is a member of the Maritime Navy ROTC Unit.  In 2010, Joe was Maritime’s first player named to the Academic All-Conference Team and also received this honor in 2011.  He has been on the Admiral’s List in every semester and carries an overall GPA of 3.5. 

Prior to Maritime:

Joe played for Coach Muller at Huntington High School and was the Team Captain. He also received Most Valuable Player, Offensive Lineman of the Year, and Defensive Lineman of the Year awards.

Personal:

Joe’s parents are Elizabeth Davidson and Marty Brown.
