Biography

At Maritime:

2011: Played in all 16 games for the Privateers, starting in 12 of them. Had a four-goal game against Mount St. Vincent on March 30 and Mount St. Mary on April 4, totaling 19 goals and 9 assists. Also chipped in defensively with 21 ground balls and three caused turnovers.
 
Majoring in Marine Engineering and is a member of the Regiment of Cadets.
 
Prior to Maritime:

Played for the Sayville Golden Flashers under coach Christian Doller. Captained the 2009 wresting team. Led his team to the 2009 Suffolk County and Long Island Championship.
 
Personal:

“Matty,” is the son of Laura and Paul, and brother of Keith (22) who also attends Maritime. His favorite athlete is Henrik Lundqvist and the person he admires the most is his mother. Plans to sail for a few years and then work at a power plant. He listens to his iPod and re-tapes his stick before games.
