Biography

At Maritime:

2010: Senior Season –

 

2009: Junior Season – Ernie contributed significantly as a member of the scout team and was named Scout Team Player of the Week for the Mt Ida game.  He also saw action in the Castleton State game.  Ernie assume the leadership position of IDO helping train the freshmen in the Regiment of Cadets.

 

2008: Sophomore Season – Scout Team Member. Regimental Squad Leader.

 

2007: Freshman Season - Scout Team Member and made Academic Dean’s List.


Ernie is majoring in Marine Business and Commerce with a minor in Humanities and is pursuing a USCG Deck License.  Ernie is also a member of the NROTC unit contracted to receive a US Naval Commission upon graduation.

 

Prior to Maritime:

Ernie played for Coach Dan Duddy at Monsignor Donovan High School.

His parents are Ida and Ernest Caponegro.
