Biography
At Maritime:
2010: Junior Season – John played in 15 games starting in four of them. He amassed eight goals and three assists while also picking 15 groundballs and caused two turnovers. His best game came against Bard on April 7 when he scored 2 goals, gave an assist and picked 7 groundballs.
2009: Sophomore Season – John played in six games, sharing two assists and grabbing 3 groundballs. His best performance was on Mount St. Vincent when he had an assist and grabbed a groundball.
John will major in Marine Transportation.
Prior to Maritime:
John played for the Seaford Vikings under Coach Mike Cochran where he was named: All County in 2007 and 2008. He led the team in points. While at Seaford, John was also part of the football team with whom he won the 2007 Nassau Champions and was named to the 2007 All County.
Personal:
John is the son of Regina and John. What he most enjoys about sports is scoring goals and touchdowns and he chose Maritime because he enjoys seeing the city from the field. John goes by the nickname Drizzy and the person he most admires is his dad. His favorite athlete is Jake Saperstein and playing lacrosse is what he most enjoys about Maritime.
