At Maritime:
2011: Junior Season – Erik’s season was cut short as Maritime’s career leader in catches and receiving TD’s sustained a season ending injury in the Becker game. Erik caught 6 passes for 85 yards and contributed one TD on the season. For his efforts against USMMA-King’s Point, Erik was named the Offensive Player of the Game. Erik attained the highest level possible, Super Iron Privateer Award, in the spring off season program lifting 1250 lbs in his 4 max outs.
2010: Sophomore Season – Erik burst onto the scene turning in the top performance by the receiving corps and garnered second team All-ECFC honors and the team Offensive Most Improved Award for the season. In the run oriented offense, Erik hauled in 16 catches (avg. 17.6 yards per catch) for 6 TD’s. His most memorable catch of the season came with just one minute remaining in the game against Mount Ida when he grabbed a 45 yards strike in the corner of the Mustang endzone to put the Privateers back in the lead. He was awarded Offensive Player of the Week honors for his performances against Kings Point and Mount Ida and was named WARFACE captain for homecoming against Husson. Erik received Privateer Level Award in off season program lifting 1155 lbs in his 4 max outs.
2009: Freshman Season- Erik played in every game, breaking the starting lineup for 6 games. An exceptional perimeter blocker, Erik took advantage of the play action game by hauling in 3 passes for 95 yards. Erik scored his first collegiate TD on a 31 yard grab against Becker.
Academics: Erik is majoring in International Transportation and Trade and was named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2012 semester.
Prior to Maritime:
Erik played for Coach App at New Dorp High School where he received the MVP Award, Advance Allstar, All Burough, and Fugazzi Bowl All Star game. He also participated in Track.
