SUNY Maritime

At Maritime:

2011: Junior Season – Larry started in all 10 games at tackle and was second on the team in defenders knocked back with 18 and third on the team in defenders knocked down with 47.  He contributed the 4^th highest number of plays on the offense with 576 total plays. 

2010: Sophomore Season – Larry started all 11 games of the season at tackle and earned All-ECFC recognition.  He registered 49 defenders knocked down (team 2^nd best) and 38 defenders knocked back.  The Offensive Line was named Player of the Week against Husson as they opened holes good for 434 rushing yards.  Larry volunteered as a Squad Leader for Regimental Indoctrination.

2009: Freshman Season - Larry made an immediate impact on the offensive line as the primary backup and starter in the Jumbo set.  Larry saw action in every game and received his first collegiate start in the OT victory against USMMA.  Larry went on to start 4 more games for injured ECFC All-Conference performer Mike Walsh.  Off the field, Larry was a member of the Monomoy crew which defeated USMMA for the annual Marine Society Cup.

Academics: Larry is majoring in Marine Transportation with a USCG Deck License.

Prior to Maritime:

Larry played for Coach Ciampi at East Islip High School where he received All Conference and All Long Island recognition.  He originally signed with Central Connecticut State and redshirted his freshman year before transferring to Maritime College.

Personal:

His mother is Hope Johnson and he has two brothers: Matthew and twin teammate Andrew.
