At Maritime:
2011: Junior Season – Fritz continued his extremely productive career starting every game and leading the team in receiving yardage with 167 yards on 10 catches. He added 3 TD’s on 28 rushes for 101 yards. Fritz’s impact was also felt in the Special Teams game as he returned 8 Kickoffs for 252 yards including the second half opening kick of the Becker game for a TD sparking a come from behind victory. His All Purpose Yardage of 52 yards per game was second highest on the team and this was good for Honorable Mention All-ECFC honors. Fritz was named Special Teams Player of the Week against Becker and was the WARFACE Team Captain for the Anna Maria game. After the season, Fritz was voted by his teammates for the WARFACE Character award for the second year in a row. In the spring off season program, he received Privateer Level Award lifting 1270 lbs in his 4 max outs.
2010: Sophomore Season- Fritz exploded onto the scene for the Maritime Offense finishing the season as the second leading scorer with 48 points. He rushed the ball 70 times for 406 yards and 5 TDs and caught 4 passes for 100 yards and another 2 TDs. Special Team contributions were also significant as Fritz registered 10 tackles and returned 4 kick offs, scoring on a 65 yard scamper against Mount Ida to open the second half. He received Offensive Player of the Week against West Conn and Special Teams Player of the Week against Mount Ida, Norwich and Alfred. Fritz was voted by his teammates for the WARFACE Character award. Off the field, Fritz was a Squad Leader for Regimental Indoctrination. During the spring off season program, Fritz received Navy Level Award lifting 1210 lbs in his 4 max outs.
2009: Freshman Season- Fritz played in seven games averaging 7.5 yards per carry for a total of 135 yards. He scored his first and only TD on a 17 yard scamper against Becker. Fritz pulled down 2 passes on the season for 43 yards and also helped on special teams returning 4 kickoffs for 68 yards and registering 1 tackle and 1assist on kick coverage. Off the field, Fritz was a member of the Monomoy crew which defeated USMMA for the annual Marine Society Cup.
Academics: Fritz is majoring in Facilities Engineering and pursuing a USCG Engine License.
Prior to Maritime:
Fritz played for Coach Steve Allen at Palm Coast High School where he was the Most Valuable Player for his team as well as First Team All-Area. Fritz also was involved with track in high school where he was All-State in hurdles.
