Biography

At Maritime:
2008: Junior Season - Ryan started in 5 games while appearing in 8 games. Ryan was second on the team with 47.5 total tackles. Ryan also had a fumble recovery and 3 interceptions, one which was returned for the game winning touchdown vs. Norwich. He was voted by his teammates as the weekly Warface captian vs. Catholic. Ryan was also a two time Special Teams player of the week vs. Becker and Mt. Ida as well as the Defensive player of the week vs. Norwich. Also for the first time in Maritime football history, the Privateers were represented by the ECAC as Ryan was selected as the co-defensive player of the week for his performance vs. Norwich.

Ryan is majoring in Marine Transportation. 

Prior to Maritime:
Ryan played for Coach George Sneed at Tavares High School where he was named the 2005 most outgoing player as well as Defensive MVP.

His parents are Douglas and Tracey Leary.
