2008: Freshman Season - Walter started in one game while appearing in two games for the Privateers.

Walter is majoring in Mechanical Engineering

Prior to Maritime:
Walter played for Coach James Chiarello at Patchogue-Medford High School where he received All-Division honors. Walter received the Patchogue-Medford Top Lineman Award. Walter also ran spring track in high school.
