THROGGS NECK, NY – Maritime College finished sixth in the season-long Skyline Conference Presidents Cup standings for the 2024-25 academic year.  Three Privateer squads (men's basketball, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse) reached the semifinals of their respective Skyline Tournaments, while the baseball team also qualified for the Skyline Tournament.  In addition, Maritime had a second-place showing at the Skyline Championships in women's cross country.

The Skyline Presidents Cup recognizes all-sports success, with points being awarded based on each school's conference finish in every Skyline-sponsored sport.  A school's final ranking is determined by dividing its cumulative number of points by the number of points available.  The institution with the highest percentage wins the Presidents Cup.

This season, Maritime participated in 11 Skyline-sponsored sports and earned 63.5 out of a possible 111 points, a percentage of .572.  The Privateers ended up just behind fifth-place Mount St. Mary, which had a .575 points percentage.  Merchant Marine (.909) was the 2024-25 Skyline Presidents Cup champions, followed by Farmingdale (.862), St. Joseph's LI (.691) and Manhattanville (.637).
