THROGGS NECK, NY – Three Maritime College student-athletes have been named to the Spring 2025 Skyline All-Sportsmanship Team.  The Privateers were represented by one member of each team that played a Skyline-sponsored sport during the Spring season—Yanuel Rojas (baseball), Ryan Brice (men's lacrosse) and Tori Koenig (women's lacrosse).

Rojas missed a large portion of the season due to injury, but was the ultimate team player who came to practice every day with a willingness to make his teammates better.  Brice was a team captain this season and provided invaluable leadership and experience to a young Maritime squad that had to deal with several key injuries.  Koenig, the Privateers' starting goalkeeper, played an instrumental role in the team's success by playing with heart, integrity and respect, as well as a positive attitude and unwavering commitment to the spirit of the game.

The Skyline All-Sportsmanship Team honors student-athletes who "uphold the conference's commitment to sportsmanship and fair play."  Nominees are selected by their head coaches, with each school's selections making up the full All-Sportsmanship Team for that sport.
