THROGGS NECK, N.Y. – The Maritime women's soccer team played a Saturday evening match on Reinhart Field against St. Joseph's (Bklyn), and fell by the score of 1-0 to the Bears.

Junior Cammie Havens (Point Pleasant, N.J./Point Pleasant Borough) led Maritime with four saves on the night, after yielding the only goal of the matchup. It was just 3:38 into the game when the Bears scored as the initial shot ricocheted into the goal after initially hitting the crossbar. The goal proved to be the only marker of the game as neither side was able to capitalize through the remainder of the contest.
