Schedule Changes Announced for Baseball, Rowing, Women’s Lacrosse

THROGGS NECK, N.Y. – A series of schedule changes have been announced for four of Maritime's spring teams that will reflect the schedule for four teams over the next week.

Baseball
Due to the projected cold temperatures on Wednesday evening, the Maritime baseball game versus Fisher (Mass.) has been cancelled. The baseball team will next play on Saturday, when the squad opens Skyline Conference play at 12 p.m. against Mount St. Mary on the Reinhart Baseball Field.

Men's & Women's Rowing
With the winter weather wreaking havoc throughout the past few months forcing multiple cancellations to the team's practice schedule, the team has decided that more practice was needed before taking part in competition.

Therefore the team's visit to Philadelphia to take part in the Murphy Cup has been cancelled, the team will officially open its spring season with the Occoquan Sprints in Fairfax, Virginia on Saturday, April 2.

Women's Lacrosse
Next Tuesday's Skyline Conference opener was scheduled to be on the road against Mount St. Vincent, however the Dolphins' grass field will not be playable by the time the game is supposed to be played.

The contest has now been moved to Reinhart Field on the Maritime College campus and will begin at 7 p.m. The Dolphins will still serve as the home team and will assume all home responsibilities for the contest.
