THROGGS NECK, N.Y. – The Maritime football team returns home to Reinhart Field this Saturday for its annual matchup with the Anna Maria AMCATs at 2 p.m. The football game will be the focus of this weekend's homecoming festivities on the Maritime College campus.

Live Coverage: Once again there will be live video and live stats of this Saturday's game available at
MaritimeAthletics.com/coverage.aspx. Matthew Falkenbury will be on play-by-play duties once again, with on-air time slated for 1:50 p.m.

Series History: Maritime owns an 8-0 overall record with the AMCATs, dating back to their first meeting in the 2009 season when the ECFC formed. Last year the Privateers traveled to Paxton, Massachusetts and blanked their hosts by a 22-0 score. In the game Maritime's defense held Anna Maria to just 20 yards of total offense, including -19 rushing yards on the day.

Coin Flip: As part of homecoming weekend, Peter Dicapua '67, will be back on campus as part of the 50th reunion class. Mr. Dicapua served for three years in the United States Navy on the U.S.S. Huntington, followed by four years in the U.S. Naval Reserves.

He worked more than 40 years with Atco Properties and Management in numerous roles, including 12 years as the company's Chief Operating Officer.

40th Anniversary Team: After the first quarter of the game, several members of 1977 Maritime football team will be back and recognized as part of their 40th reunion class.

Top-Tackle Performance: Last week at Husson senior captain
Kendal Parker (Evans, Ga./Lakeside) recorded 18 tackles, which was the most by a Privateer since the 2012 season. The Privateer all-time record is 20 tackles in one single game.

Around the ECFC: Dean hosts Mount Ida to kick off ECFC action this weekend at 12 p.m., Gallaudet visits Alfred State and Castleton heads to Husson to kick off at 1 p.m., both Alfred State and Husson will be celebrating their homecoming events on campus as well.
