FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – The Maritime women's soccer team traveled to Long Island to take on the Farmingdale Rams on Wednesday afternoon and fell by the score of 4-0 to its host.

Cammie Havens (Point Pleasant, N.J./Point Pleasant Borough) led the defensive effort as she tied her season-high with 11 saves while also facing a season-high 42 total shots, with 15 on target.

Ashley Giorgio (Islip, N.Y./Islip) helped limit Farmingdale's offensive chances, as Farmingdale was held to just 37.2% in terms of chances on target.

Farmingdale had a 2-0 lead at the half with goals in the fourth and 31st minutes as the Rams took 20 shots in the opening half. The Rams added two more goals in the 59th and 67th minute on a total of 23 shots in the second half of play.

Maritime (4-6-1, 1-4-0 Skyline) returns home on Friday evening at 7 p.m. to take on Old Westbury to kickoff Homecoming festivities on the Maritime College campus.
