ALBANY, N.Y. – The Maritime women's soccer team visited the Sage Gators on Friday evening, and fell to its host by a 9-0 score on the Albany College of Pharmacy Field.
The Privateers had three shots on the match, with two goals as junior
Gayle Woods (East Greenbush, N.Y./Columbia) recorded the shots for the team.
In goal, sophomore
Cammie Havens (Point Pleasant, N.J./Point Pleasant Borough) played the entirety of the match and stopped 20 shots sent her way.
Sage scored four goals in the first half, before tallying five more in the final 45 minutes for the victory.
Maritime (3-11, 1-4 Skyline) will return home on Wednesday afternoon at 5 p.m., when the Privateers play host to the St. Joseph's (Bklyn) Bears on Reinhart Field.
Sage (7-5, 3-1 Skyline) will travel on Sunday afternoon to take on Yeshiva at 1 p.m., the match will be played on Field #10 on Randall's Island.
