THROGGS NECK, N.Y. – The Maritime women's soccer team fell at home to the Farmingdale Rams by the score of 9-0 on Reinhart Field.
In goal, sophomore
Cammie Havens (Point Pleasant, N.J./Point Pleasant Borough) made 18 saves, while the team was credited with one save in the match.
Junior
Gayle Woods (East Greenbush, N.Y./Columbia) and freshman
Ojaira Suero (Bronx, N.Y./Urban Assembly) picked up shots on the contest for the Privateers.
Farmingdale scored all nine of its goals and took all 33 of its shots in the opening half of play. The Rams also had four corner kicks and were called offsides on one occasion in the stanza.
Maritime (4-12-0, 1-5-0 Skyline) will look to get back in the win column on Wednesday evening when the team plays hosts to the Sarah Lawrence Gryphons at 7 p.m. on Reinhart Field.
Farmingdale (7-7-3, 7-0-0 Skyline) will travel to Skidmore tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
