Women’s Soccer Stumped by Mount St. Mary in Skyline Conference Play

NEWBURGH, N.Y. – On Saturday, the Maritime Women's Soccer team travelled to Kaplan Field to take on the Mount St. Mary Knights and fell by a 10-0 score.
 
In goal, sophomore Cammie Havens (Point Pleasant, N.J./Point Pleasant Borough) tallied nine saves on the match for the Privateers.
 
Maritime fell behind early as Mount St. Mary got the scoring started just 1:34 into the match, the Knights added six more in the half to take a 7-0 edge into the halftime break.
 
The Knights added three more goals in the second half to round out the scoring on the afternoon.
 
Maritime (3-9-0, 1-3-0 Skyline) will be back on the road on Monday afternoon, when the Privateers travel to take on Staten Island at 4 p.m. from the CSI Soccer Complex.
 
Mount St. Mary (4-6-0, 3-1-0 Skyline) will visit Farmingdale tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m. on Long Island as Skyline Conference play resumes for the Knights.
