Maritime's defensive unit of seniors Caroline Reynolds (Oswego, N.Y./Oswego), Meghin Paczkowski (Oceanside, N.Y./Oceanside), along with sophomores Paige Frankel (Hackensack, N.J./Immaculate Conception) and Olivia Mihaljevich (Leona Valley, Calif./Quartz Hill) put together a valiant effort in holding the high-octane Knights to 28 shots on the match.

In the match, sophomore Gayle Woods (East Greenbush, N.Y./Columbia) recorded the team's lone corner kick, while Mount St. Mary took 10. The Knights were also called offsides on six occasions in the match.

Maritime (6-11, 2-7 Skyline) will look to Friday's season finale when the team hosts non-conference Brooklyn for a 7 p.m. start on Reinhart Field. Prior to the match, the team will honor the three members of the team; Reynolds, Paczkowski and Grace Suhovsky (Island Park, N.Y./Holy Trinity).

Mount St. Mary (13-6-1, 8-1-0 Skyline) will look ahead towards the Skyline Conference Tournament, as the team will serve as the third seed based on the fifth tiebreaker based off of the three-way tie for the top spot in the league with Farmingdale and Sage. Mount St. Mary will host the Mount St. Vincent Dolphins in the league quarterfinals in the #3 vs. #6 matchup on Saturday.
