Women's Soccer drops Skyline Conference Match to Mount St. Vincent

RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The Maritime Women's Soccer team dropped a Skyline Conference match to Mount St. Vincent 7-0 on Marillac Field.

Freshman Cammie Havens (Point Pleasant, N.J./Point Pleasant Borough) racked up 13 saves in just under 80 minutes in the loss. This is Havens' sixth game of the season with at least 10 saves. Senior Paige Frankel (Hackensack, N.J./Immaculate Conception) played the remaining 10 minutes in net, making two saves.

The Privateers totaled six shots, four on goal. Freshman Courtney Salatto (West Islip, N.Y./West Islip) led the team with two shots on goal.

Sophomores Jessica Yee (Freehold, N.J./Freehold) and Gayle Woods (East Greenbush, N.Y./Columbia) both added a shot on goal in the match.

With the loss, Maritime falls to 6-10, 3-6 Skyline on the season. Mount St. Vincent improved to 5-10, 3-4 Skyline.

Maritime's next match is Tuesday, October 27 against Mount St. Mary on Reinhart Field at 7:30 p.m.
