        THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (April 12, 2013) – The Maritime men's lacrosse team (4-10, 0-4 Skyline) will play host to conference opponent Montclair St. (9-4, 3-0 Skyline) on Saturday afternoon. The game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at Reinhart Field.
 
Maritime Athletics Will Continue DIII Week Celebration Saturday
        The Maritime Athletic Department will continue its week-long celebration of NCAA Division III Week on Saturday at the lacrosse doubleheader. There will be a halftime shot contest, where five lucky fans will be chosen at random to compete.
 
        Members of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, along with student-athletes from other Maritime teams will be on hand for the event, as the main focus of the day will be to promote DIII Athletics and recognize the “student” that makes up the student-athlete. Inside The Series With Montclair St.
        The Red Hawks have won each of the past ten meetings between the two teams dating back to the 2005 season, including two matchups in the Skyline Conference Tournament in 2010 and 2011.
 
Last Time These Two Teams Met
        The Privateers traveled to New Jersey to take on Montclair St. on April 18, 2012 and lost by the score of 20-4. Then-junior Kevin Winter (Brightwaters, N.Y./Bay Shore) (Brightwaters, N.Y./Bay Shore) recorded a hat trick for Maritime and assisted on the only other Privateer goal, which was scored by classmate Matthew Messina (West Sayville, N.Y./Sayville) (West Sayville, N.Y./Sayville).         In goal, then-junior Nick Barbuto (Seaford, N.Y./Seaford) (Seaford, N.Y./Seaford) suffered the loss despite making 10 saves in over three quarters of action. He was replaced by then-freshman Tyler Donovan (Hauppauge, N.Y./Hauppauge) (Hauppauge, N.Y./Hauppauge), who one save.

        Montclair St. enters Saturday's action with a 9-4 overall record, including a 3-0 mark in Skyline action, under second-year head coach Chris Kivlen. Junior Sam Morrissey is the Red Hawks' leader with 55 points on 35 goals and 20 assists, while sophomore Michael Jevic is close behind with 53 points (38G, 15A). Senior Kenneth Bogert is the team's leading groundball man with 67 and is 82-for-136 on faceoffs for a .603 winning percentage.
 
        In goal, junior Michael Dorn has made eight starts and has a 7-3 record with a 6.66 goals against average, a .641 save percentage and 8.33 saves per game.
