Men’s Lacrosse Game Day: Privateers Take On Arch-Rival Kings Point Tonight In Long Island

        THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (March 14, 2012) – The Maritime men's lacrosse team will continue its four-game road swing tonight with a stop off in Great Neck, N.Y., to take on the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point. First faceoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Mariners' Captain James Harvey Tomb Field.
 
Inside The Series With Kings Point
        The USMMA has held the series lead 4-1 over the past five seasons. The Privateers lone win during that time was an 18-10 victory back in 2008, which was the first year that Kings Point had left the Skyline Conference. Last season, the Mariners came to Throggs Neck and won by the score of 19-6. Maritime had six different goal scorers in the game, while two other players tallied assists.
