        THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (Jan. 19, 2012) – The Maritime men's and women's swimming and diving teams will compete in their first meet of the New Year Thursday night at Baruch College. The first race between the Privateers and their non-conference opponents from the CUNYAC is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Bearcats' ARC Aquatic Center.
 
Inside The Series With Baruch
        The two schools have met each of the past three seasons and Baruch owns winning records on both the men's and women's sides. The Bearcat men have a 2-1 record over the Privateers, winning each of the past two meetings, while the women are victorious in all three meetings since the 2008-09 season. During the 2010-11 season, Baruch swept the meet, as the men won, 121-102, and the women won, 141-78.
