Inside The Series

This will be the seventh time these teams will face each other since 2005, with the Mariners owning a record of 5-1. In the last meeting between the squads, the victory stayed at home as Kings Point won 13-10 at Captain Tomb Field in Kings Point, N.Y. on March 17, 2010.

Maritime last won the rivalry game on April 23, 2008, by a score of 18-10, also played at the Mariners' campus. Four players from the current Privateer squad were part of the victory, including senior TJ Beaudette (Floral Park, N.Y./Floral Park Memorial) (Floral Park, N.Y./Floral Park Memorial) who had a game-high seven groundballs.
