THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (Jan. 25, 2011) – On Monday night, the Skyline Conference announced that Maritime juniors Jonathan DaSilva (Stony Brook, N.Y./Ward Melville) (Stony Brook, N.Y./Ward Melville) and Leighahn Ferrari (Copiague, N.Y./St. John the Baptist) (Copiague, N.Y./St. John the Baptist) were named to the weekly swimming honor rolls for their respective performances against Baruch last Wednesday.
DaSilva won the 100-yard butterfly in 55.01 and was part of the team that won the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:35.49. Ferrari won the 50-yard freestyle race with a time of 29.56 seconds, the only sub-30 second-swimmer in the race.

Tonight, the Maritime men's and women's swimming and diving teams host Brooklyn College in their second straight home meet. The first race is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. at the Riesenberg Hall Pool.
