Meet Day: Men’s And Women’s Swimming And Diving Return From Break To Host Baruch Tonight At Riesenberg Hall Pool

THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (Jan. 19, 2011) – The Maritime men's and women's swimming and diving teams return to action tonight for the first time this new year when they host non-conference opponent Baruch College. The first race is scheduled to go off at 6 p.m. at the Riesenberg Hall Pool.

Inside The Series With Baruch

            This will be the third straight year the two schools will be meeting. The Privateer men lost to Baruch on the road during the 2009-10 season by the score of 124-81 on Jan. 20, 2010 in Manhattan at the Bearcats' Athletics & Recreation Center. Two seasons ago, on Nov. 4, 2008, the Maritime men won a home meet against Baruch, 109-96. As for the women, they also lost to Baruch on the road last season, 101-68, but also fell to the Bearcats during the 2008-09 season at home by the score of 118-81.
