Chestnut Hill, MA – Freshman midfielder Heather Christiansen (Baldwin, N.Y./Baldwin) (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin) exploded for ten goals against Pine Manor College to lead the Privateer women’s lacrosse team to their first win Friday afternoon in Chestnut Hill, MA.
 
Freshman midfielder Elaine Rodriquez (Bronx, NY) and sophomore attack Kittra Johnson (Washington, DC) each scored two goals for Pine Manor.
 
Senior keeper Nicole Rosario (Massapequa, NY/Kellenberg) (Massapequa, NY/Kellenberg) made eight saves and had three goals against, while junior defender Jamie Gleber (Wilmington, DE/Padua Academy) (Wilmington, DE/Padua Academy) made her first appearance in net for Maritime, allowing two goals.
 
On Monday, April 16, the Privateers will be playing the Rams of Farmingdale State at home at 7:30 p.m. in a game that was originally scheduled to be played at 4:00 p.m. at Farmingdale State.
