Lee Kellett

Lee Kellett finished his second season witht the Maritime Men's Soccer program as an assistant coach in the Fall of 2014.

In his second season on the Maritime staff, Kellett helped lead the team to a 9-8-1 overall record including wins five Skyline Conference wins as the team earned the three seed in the Skyline Conference Tournament.

In 2013, Kellett helped the Privateers to an 8-11-2 overall record with a 5-3-1 mark in Skyline Conference play en route to the team clinching the fourth overall seed in the Skyline Conference Tournament.

He came to the Privateers with over nine years of coaching experience. He has been in the United States since 2007, mainly in the New Jersey and Connecticut areas, where he has worked with players of all levels from travel teams to high school and college players.

Kellett has completed many coaching qualification including a UEFA B License and a English FA Coaching Goalkeepers Level 2 license. As well as coaching in the U.S. and England, Lee has also coached in Africa, where is co-founded a charity in Ghana called The Ghana Football Project and continues to work in Africa to help the local soccer players.

He played soccer for his Myerscough College in Preston, England, and also for the Royal Engineers while in the British Army, playing right midfield or right defense. He currently resides in Brooklyn, N.Y. with his fiancée, Megan.
