Maritime senior center Patrick MacDonald of the basketball team earned Skyline Conference Player of the Week, Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Honorable Mention, and D3hoops.com Team of the Week recognition for his efforts last week.

MacDonald averaged 21 points a game as Maritime went 1-1 on the week, including a season-high 26 points on Tuesday against St. Joseph's (Bklyn). Overall on the week he shot 18-of-24 from the floor and converted on six of his 10 free throw attempts while adding two steals and five blocks on the week.
 
On the glass, he cleaned up with a season-best 17 rebounds in the team's win over St. Joseph's (Bklyn) to go along with 13 rebounds against Old Westbury on Thursday. The senior now has 764 total rebounds to go along with 462 defensive and 302 offensive boards, all of which broke the program records in Tuesday's win.
