Senior Brian McLaughlin of the baseball team was selected as the Skyline Conference Player of the Week for the first time in his career on Monday.
 
On the week McLaughlin hit .545 with six hits in 11 at bats, which included three home runs and a team-high six RBIs.With his three home runs on the week, McLaughlin set the new standard for career home runs as he launched both the 11th and 12th of his career in Sunday's doubleheader sweep over Mount St. Vincent. His first home run on Sunday was the sixth of his season, which also set the new single-season record, which he later extended with his seventh in game two.
