For the second consecutive season, Patrick MacDonald of the Maritime basketball team is taking home postseason honors as he was named to the Skyline All-Conference First Team.
MacDonald had another career year for the Privateers as he amassed 505 points. On the season he shot 181-336 (53.9%), while also connecting on the first four three-point baskets of his career. From the line he shot a total of 184 free throws and made 139 as he converted on 75.5% from the stripe on the season.

In regards to the league, he was second in the conference in scoring with 20.2 points per game and 21.1 points per league game. He was second in the league in field goal percentage, and sixth in his free throw percentage. Overall he was third in the league in minutes played averaging 33.7 minutes per contest.

In addition to his scoring ability, MacDonald set the program record for all three rebounding categories as he set the single-season mark for offensive rebounds with 112, defensive rebounds with 201 and total rebounds with 313. The junior center also totaled 35 assists, 21 steals and 48 blocks during his third season with the program.
