Maritime College Athletics

Maritime sophomore Caitlin Cummings of the dinghy sailing team was named as an All-MAISA Crews selection for the 2015-16 season.
 
Cummings was an integral part of the Privateer seasons during both the fall and spring semesters, as she recorded five top-10 finishes including a season-best fourth place finish at the North Fall Qualifier hosted by Cornell on September 26, as well as the MAISA Match Race Championships at the Merchant Marine Academy on October 24.
 
She followed that up in the with top-10 finishes in all four of her five recorded races during the spring season. She started the spring season with a strong initial showing in the early stages of the Tom Noble Team Race at Washington College before it was cancelled for weather conditions.  In the first recorded race of the season that she participated in, Cummings helped the team to a fourth place finish at the John Jackson Team Race, and also helped Maritime to a fifth place finish at the Captain Prosser Trophy.
