Freshman Tyler Stuart of the Maritime baseball team helped the Privateers secure its first victory over Farmingdale in over a decade on Saturday.

In the win, the left-hander went the full nine innings against the Rams and allowed just two hits to the defending league champions. Over the course of the game he struck out six Farmingdale batters while also picking off three Rams en route to the league win.

Stuart was named the Skyline Conference co-Rookie of the Week on Monday afternoon for his efforts.
