Junior Leanne Lavelle became the Maritime women's lacrosse all-time leader in ground balls as she now sits alone at the top with 151, eclipsing the previous career mark of 140 ground balls.

Lavelle broke the record with eight loose ball pick ups in Thursday evening's win over Merchant Marine by the score of 11-9. In addition to her ground ball success, Lavelle currently leads the team in points, caused turnovers and draw controls as she continues to climb up the all-time leaderboard at Maritime.

With her success over the team's three contests the week prior, Lavelle was named to the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday, April 20.
