Freshman Brian McLaughlin collected six hits this week to help the Privateers to a 3-2 record. He led the team in RBIs with nine, and also led in total bases with 10. He was second on the week with his .526 slugging percentage. He also made his season pitching debut against Yeshiva on Wednesday and tossed a hitless inning with two strikeouts.
 
With his strong output in the team's five games this week, McLaughlin was named to the Skyline Conference Honor Roll on Monday afternoon.
