Andrew Lalama

Andrew Lalama enters his seventh season with the Maritime football team in 2021.

Lalama currently serves as the wide receivers coach and previously was the Special Teams Coordinator. 

In 2018 Lalama saw his receivers total of 2,621 receiving yards, while a trio of wide receivers earned all-conference accolades.

As the special team’s coordinator, Lalama lead the nation in blocked kicks in 2017 and produced three consecutive Conference Players of the Year (2019-2018-207).   
 
Before he got to Maritime, Lalama worked at Holy Cross High School in Flushing, New York serving as a varsity assistant coach and had also served as a coordinator for both the offense and defense throughout his time with the Knights.

Lalama graduated from Hofstra University in May of 2011 with his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education.

The Long Island native has produced 12 All-Conference players during his tenure with Maritime Football.

Throughout his professional career as a teacher, he has also taught in Valley Stream and East Rockaway, in numerous roles.

In addition to his degree, Lalama is New York State Certified in Physical Education, and is also CPR/AED and First-Aid Certified.

The Long Island native currently resides in Queens.
