Brittany Ross

Brittany Ross enters her second season as Head Women's Soccer Coach, and third season overall at Maritime in the fall of 2015.

During her first season as head coach, Ross led the team to a 5-11-1 overall record as she coached a young team comprised of 11 underclassmen.

In her first season with the team, as assistant coach in 2013, Ross helped the women's soccer program to its best overall record in program history at a 10-10-0 overall mark, including a program best four-match winning streak from August 31 to September 13.

Ross plays an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the women’s soccer program, including on- and off-campus recruiting, practice and game preparation and management, as well as fundraising.

In addition to her duties at Maritime, Ross works with the Long Island Rough Riders Soccer Club serving as Controller, Junior Rough Riders Administrator and Staff Coach, and has done so since 2010.

Prior to her arrival at Maritime, Ross served as the Junior Varsity Head Coach at Our Lady of Mercy Academy in Syosset, N.Y.

Ross holds a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) National Diploma, Advanced National Diploma and Goalkeeping Level I, II, and III Diplomas.

She is a 2010 graduate of St. John’s University where she earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Accounting.

Ross hails from Hicksville, Long Island, N.Y.
