Biography
Major: Marine Transportation w/ Ship Management Minor
Ashley “Edy” returns to the Privateers as a senior defender. In the 2010 season Edington played in 20 games and tallied one assist from the defensive line. She also stepped in goal for 8 of those games collecting a total of 78 saves. In 2009 Ashley played and started in 18 games and in 2008 she played and started in 20 games for the Privateers. Her speed and precise tackles help to regain possession in our defensive third. Edington also stepped in net during her freshman campaign making 22 saves in 4 games.
Edington also participated as a member of the Maritime women's softball team in 2009 and the women’s lacrosse team in 2010. Ashley attended Saint Anthony's High School in Bayshore, N.Y., where she lettered in soccer, basketball and softball.
